   You are looking at a Sony 5.1 channel stereo amplifier, model: STR-DE497. 

  I've had the unit for about 7years now and it has performed very well in that time.  I have only replaced it because I wanted a black unit, so I've bought the most recent version of the same unit in black.  I think it sounds great.  It comes with the remote control. 
  I've made the second picture a combined picture of the connections in the rear.
