This 86-track digital audio CD contains all of the fixed and sweeping tones you will ever need to find rattles and vibrations in your speaker installations. Once identified, you can minimise or totally remove these annoying problems and thus optimise your sound systems in their environment.

Typical causes:

Loose speaker grilles.
Poor mountings and brackets.
Reflections from windows, doors, ceilings and floors.
Mechanical and electrical faults.
Insufficient sound damping.

Tests:

Linear sweeping sine wave tones: 20Hz - 400Hz, 20Hz - 100Hz (2Hz steps) & 100Hz - 400Hz (10Hz steps).

Fixed frequency reference tones: 16 - 56: 20Hz to 100Hz, 2Hz steps.

Fixed frequency reference tones: 56 - 86: 100Hz to 400Hz, 10Hz steps.

As with all of my products on ebay, I provide you with the greatest value for money by offering a wide selection of tests at no extra cost.

Instructions:

Start off with the full frequency sweep (track 01) to get an idea of how many vibrations your system has and at what approximate frequencies they are occurring at. Use tracks 02 – 15 to narrow down your search. Finally, use the reference tones (tracks 16 – 86) to generate those annoying vibrations. Once they are found you can regenerate them to fix the problem. Remember to set the CD/DVD player to repeat the track over and over if you require more time.

Remember that most of these test programs run at maximum audio output, so make sure to turn the amplifier volume down low to start off with, otherwise damage may occur to your hardware.

2.0 Tuning Units

2.1 Your Purchase. We cannot dispatch your order until you forward the vehicle details as requested in the listings and after purchase emails. We require this information from you so we can send you the correct unit for your vehicle and to confirm that you have made the right purchase choice. For some vehicles we may require further details and we will contact you about this after your purchase.

We reserve the right to cancel your order and provide you with a full refund if we think; a. you have purchased the wrong unit for your vehicle or b. we think that the unit is incompatible with your vehicle or c. if you do not supply the vehicle details within 7 days of your purchase.

2.2 Installation. Some vehicle connectors may require slight modification before use. This may involve for example; cutting off a plastic guide or removing a plastic insert. Full details will be supplied with the installation instructions.

The tuning units are self-installation, so we have no control over the installation, configuration and use. Hence, the installation of the units are at your own risk. We cannot be held responsible for any injury caused to persons and or damage to property. 

We cannot be held responsible for any defects or additional stress or wear that may arise to your vehicle, directly or indirectly as a result of the installation by yourself or your representative. We do not recommend that you install the units for the first time before a journey that you will rely on.

The units may not be approved for use in your country. We cannot be held responsible for any use that is not in accordance within the laws of your country. You may have to notify your insurance company of any modifications made to your vehicle.  Modification of your vehicle may invalidate any manufacturer warranty.

2.3 Performance. All figures quoted are maximum values and may be less in practice. Real figures are vehicle dependant and can be found by measurement only. We do not make any guarantees on the performance  figures quoted in the listings.

2.4 Warranty. The warranty period is for 12 months from the date of purchase. You are responsible for the return postage costs.

The warranty shall be voided if the returned items have been, misused, disassembled or physically damaged / mutilated.

If the returned items are found to be working correctly they shall be returned to you and we will charge you any additional costs incurred.
