We have a number of cats in our Branch who, for various reasons are not suitable for re-homing. This might be because of illness, age or temperament. These cats stay with members of our branch, living with them, their families and other pets in a normal home environment.
We operate a Sponsorship Scheme where, for £12.00 per year, plus P&P, people can sponsor one of these cats. By buying this item, you will receive a printed newsletter straight away from your chosen cat which includes a photo and then a further 3 newsletters during the year with more news about how they are getting on. This also makes a lovely gift for someone who is unable to have a cat of their own. If you would like us to send this to someone else as a gift, please let us know and we will do so.
Lucas says -
I was picked up as a stray kitten in May 2009, when I was about 5 months old. I was taken to the vets to be “neutered” and vaccinated. When they examined me they found that I have a serious heart murmur – apparently it is one of the most serious, something called category 4 to 6, whatever that means. I had my “op” and came through it OK and had my jabs like a good boy too. I will have further problems due to my heart problem, so I need to be monitored regularly at the vets, so I am staying with the branch. I sometimes give my foster parents a fright with my antics as I zip about the house at break-neck speed, but I do have to stop to have lots of little rests and sometimes have to take it very easy.
Your donation will be used exclusively for our sponsor cats vet bills, to ensure that they get any veterinary treatment that they should need.
