This item is an unmounted mint stamp and a used stamp issued by Iceland in 1982.  Famous Icelanders. Thorbjorg Sveindsdottir, midwife and founder of Icelandic Women's Association. PLEASE NOTE that there are two black marks, from a stock card, on the reverse of the unmounted mint stamp. Not seen on the face of the stamp. . . . .  My reference Item 176. . . .
