When I was on the tools many years ago all my fellow tradesmen used one brand of tape measure, Stanley. Back then it was the Power lock range. I used to have 3, 10m 8m & a 5m which is the one I used the most. Nowadays if you ask any tradesman what in his opinion is the best tape measure his reply would be the same as yesteryear’s, Stanley. This tape is a Tylon, which I can only imagine is the coating on the blade but it feels good in the hand & I can read it as good as any Stanley tape measure I’ve ever used.
