Death Star II
"That blast came from the Death Star! That thing's operational!" - Lando Calrissian
Here is a video to try and capture the unique look of our geekographs:
The following is the text on the piece:
Death Star II measured over 900 kilometers in diameter and housed over 2 million Imperial subjects.
It was constructed in geosynchronous orbit around the Sanctuary Moon in the Endor system.
Death Star II
Deep Space Mobile Battle Station
Diameter: 900 Kilometers
The Death Star was a battle station the size of a small moon. It had a formidable array of turbolasers and tractor beam projectors,
giving it the firepower of greater than half the Imperial starfleet. Within its cavernous interior were legions of Imperial troops and fightercraft,
as well as all manner of detention blocks and interrogation cells. The Death Star was spherical, and dark gray in color.
Located on the Death Star’s northern hemisphere was a concave disk housing the station’s main laser weapon.
The Death Star II was the second Death Star battlestation to be constructed by the Galactic Empire.
It was much larger than its predecessor, measuring over 900 kilometers wide, and was built after the destruction of the first Death Star at the Battle of Yavin.
