If you are thinking about bidding on any item of mine, you need to read, and understand, the following. (Note : If you ask a question that is covered here, you won't get a reply!)

1. I aim to sell hundreds of CDs over the next several months, (no I do NOT have a list), and they will all be going out at £1. Why? Because I don't want to expend mental energy thinking of a price. Yes, some of them are rare, but alas, it's a buyer's market in this age of downloading. I've sold Jap imports (which cost me over £20) for £1. Yes it's heart-breaking, but if a buyer's not there, what can I do? I'll put them up and if they go for more, great, otherwise, so be it. Que sera, etc. Consequently, do NOT ask me to think up a "buy-it-now" price, and do NOT ask for a discount (other than in postage) if you buy more than one. Also, after eBay and PayPal fees I might end up with enough for a packet of crisps, so if you think I'm going to drop the price to 50p you can dream on. It's simply not worth the time involved! *** STOP PRESS! *** As eBay have now slapped a 35p listing fee on us, the starting prices are now £1.34. Sorry folks, but not my fault!

2. I never sell anything that doesn't play perfectly all the way through. In fact sometimes they are actually "mint", but eBay's interpretation of "like new" is very inflexible in that respect. I think my feedback proves I do not lie.

3. I will combine for postage but there is a limit to how how often I will parcel and re-parcel, going back and forth to the post office, weighing with and without cases and so on. At the end of the day, the CDs are mega cheap anyway, and also, places like Amazon don't combine postage, it should be noted!

4. I send normal 1st class postage only, so if you want recorded, registered, insured, whatever, you had better not bid. Whilst I HAVE been known to do that in the past, it was only for a few things which were mega valuable and which sold for a huge amount. It was done at my own expense, for my own peace of mind. Ordinarily, you pay and it WILL be sent - you have my word. (I believe in karma.)

5. For reasons above, I no longer sell outside this country. Just not worth the hassle!

6. Please do not ask me to spend ages typing out a tracklist. I assure you that the tracks of anything I am selling will be EASILY findable with the help of Google and a bit of common sense!

7. Anyone who bids on an item and wins it, THEN asks a question about it, will not get a reply. A BID IS A CONTRACT!

8. Finally, I don't have a lot of time for the bizarre attitude towards bidding that many eBayers exhibit these days. Firstly, I've had things not sell even though there were a dozen "watchers". What's going on there? I can only conclude they were just using MY adverts to see if it was worth selling their own copy? (Do let me know if there's any other favour I can do for you - NOT!) Secondly, Whilst I do not own a shop, sometimes friends call round and buy in person an item I've earmarked for sale. I will stop an eBay auction of such early, if there are no bids; if there is at least one I assure you I will let it run. However, once or twice someone's then emailed me to say "I was going to bid on that". So why didn't they? Was it too much finger effort to click on a description AND make a bid, all in the same session? I can understand someone not wanting to enter a bidding battle and instead wait until the last few minutes with their FINAL price, but to not show interest when nobody else has, defies logic. On the contrary, it actually helps deter other bidders. I myself see bargains and think "Oh someone else is interested - I won't bother". So if you ARE interested, let me know. Psychic I am not!
