Stranglehold Review For as long as it lasts, Stranglehold delivers a satisfying, if somewhat derivative action game experience. The Good Guns, guns, guns! Environments blow apart beautifully Tequila's got a good number of effective moves and abilities Solid voice acting PS3 special edition includes Hard Boiled. The Bad Gameplay does fall into repetition after a while Some of the dynamic portions of the environment are more trouble than they're worth Short single-player mode Multiplayer is weak.
I won't be doing this game justice by comparing it with recent games because technology changes every few months. It is an interesting game. it's got a good story line. the only problem I have with it is the camera view especially when you are at a corner with little space behind you. It is annoying to have to rotate the camera yourself. Overall, it is a good game. If it had been released this year with the level of games available this year, I'm sure it would have one of the top games.
Great little game if you can pick it up for a couple of quid. You can dive around the screen as Chow Yun Fat, filling criminal types with lots of holes, whilst dare we say it free running and springing onto and off various objects. The collision detection can be a little whacky at times and dont hope to stay gripped to reality as time slows and there are endless ammo supplies. But if you are after an easy play this is your game. No where near as advanced as tomb raider in the puzzle department and not as smooth at Daniel Craig in Casino Royale, but if you like your action eastern and explody why not have a bash at this. A Definate gulity pleasure.
Entertaining game but has some faults on it. I felt this tried to copy max payne but the resaults were pretty poor (comparing to max payne 3). But still the game feels funny and is a good choice when you dont want to use your brains too much.
