Subaru Impreza WRX 1996 JDM 2.0 AWD Turbo V - Limited

This is a genuinely reluctant sale of my Subaru Impreza WRX V-Limited. I've had the car since the beginning of the year and as you'd expect from Jap quality it's not caused me a problem. I have spent a fair bit on the car in that time. As well as the recent MOT when I got it it didn't have an alarm so I spent £340 having a cat 1 alarm (certificate present) and remote central locking system professionaly fitted. It's a great system and not once given me a false alarm. I've also recently had refurbished front callipers fitted along with new pads and discs all round as this was required for the MOT. I've included a picture of the car on the ramp while this work was being done. The car went through it's MOT today. 1 year's MOT and 5 months tax. Car is currently running about 270bhp. Nothing too OTT. Although I believe the correct mods are there for at least a stage 1 re-map. The car had an oil and filter change back in winter. I do have a folder with some service history. Many of the old MOT certs and receipts for various work and servicing. It's clear from the paper work and how the car runs that it's been well looked after.

Mileage: 131k although 60k of that was in kilometres. I'm not going to go on and say "don't be put off by the mileage" because firstly it's not particularly high and secondly these cars are renowned for going on and on. If you're looking at this chances are you know a bit about them.

The car is 16 years old so it's got the odd blemish but it's definitely in well above average condition for it's age. You'll struggle to find one in this good a shape. When getting brake work done the mechanic remarked that he'd see worse rust on 4 year old cars and that mine looked exceptionally clean underneath. Any inspection welcome. The car will come with the original CAT.

Unfortunately I'm not really left with any alternative but to sell and look for a diesel as I've just embarked on my first mortgage and need to cut costs somewhere. I'd rather not PX but if I did it would be for a lower value car and cash my way. Also please don't waste your own time by offering anything other than high MPG petrol or diesel cars.
