Here we have my gorgeous GS1100 Chop, loving built by me two years ago and added to ever since, the bike started life as a 1976 GS750, the rear has been chopped and a JMC swing arm fitted with monoshock suspension. The front end and polished wheels are from a GSXR. The engine is a1992 GS1100E.
Rebuilt from the ground up, the frame is powder coated, the engine was stripped (by me, I am a professional engineer) and checked for wear, new clutch pack and all new gaskets fitted, engine was then enamel painted before fitting, the exhaust rechromed.
The carbs were cleaned and rebuilt although if you were super fussy you might have them professionally dyno'd and balanced, the stubby Harris silencer sounds perfect without being too noisey
Paintwork cost me £500 but it was worth every penny and is still immaculate, the fuel tank and side panels are original GS750
The seat was built by me, with the cover made by a vehicle trimmer in leather
As you can see the switch gear is hidden to give it the clean look, the warning lights are in the headlamps cases, the start/cut off and mainbeam micro switches are under the top yoke, the ignition switch is behind the side cover
Lots of money spent, selling because I want to build another bike and can't afford to have two (particularly as I only seem to be doing 200 mile per year!)
Loads of paperwork, MOT's invoices etc
There is bound to be something I have forgotten, email any questions through ebay, I will let the auction run to the end, please do not make me any silly offers as I really really don't want to sell it and I will resort to sarcasm (and my wife says I am really good at it!)
Oh! forgot to mention, I built this for me, I have a 29" inside leg (for all of you out there that have spent all of your riding lives sliding your bum off the seat to plant your foot down when you stop this is bliss!!!), so it is a low rider, however if you fitted forward controls that would sort out you giants!!
Happy bidding! if you pass the reserve and win you will not be disappointed
