Why Use ThinkTaps?
Made From Higher content Copper! A large
proportion of Taps on the market only have 55 – 58% copper content in their
brass, meaning you own a tap that is far more likely to rust. Here at ThinkTaps, we ensure our manufacturers use only the best grade materials and keep a minimum copper content of 59 – 62%. This means that your tap lasts and lasts and lasts.
Ceramic Discs in place of Washers Ceramic discs offer a number of significant benefits over conventional washers. Drip free technology. No more leaking washers. Quarter turn easy operation smooth action levers. Durable ceramic discs add impenetrable water tight seal, tested for over 60,000 operations. State of the art Manufacturing Processes No more hand engraved taps, means no more annoying inaccuracies. ThinkTaps taps are moulded via the Gravity Die Casting Method, ensuring a compact cast and a solid durable tap. We then machine all our taps using Computer controlled machinery for ultimate accuracy of threads and fittings.
Aerated spout outlet. Adds a aerated lightness to the water as it exits the tap. The small diffuser fitted to the spout end of the tap separates the water as it exits and makes the water feel light to touch
Best Performance? Whilst
our taps can perform quite happily at 0.5 bar, we do recommend a minimum
pressure of 1.0 bar for best
performance from your tap. How can you achieve 1.0 bar pressure in your home? Well, utilising one of the following systems should allow you to achieve this;
Proper guarantees! 25 year guarantee on the manufacturing process. If at any point in 25 years you find the tap to have a manufacturing defect, contact us immediately for a replacement.
How do we get such a great finish on our taps? Every single tap is hand polished prior to chroming, ensuring a perfectly smooth finish and a great surface preparation for the chrome adherence. Additionally, we add a super thick 40 micron chrome coating for a superb lasting finish. The quality of your chrome finish can easily be tested with the ‘finger print test’. Place your finger on the chrome and remove. On poor quality chrome finish, the finger print remains, however on a good quality chrome finish, the finger print mark disappears.
