Sleeve number is 0749142 with a small 'stereo' in the rear, top corner.
When tilted under normal lighting side 1 has a faint scratch at about 10 o'clock, side 2 appears to be unmarked, side 3 has just a few faint marks but does have a 'feely' type scratch that runs through the centre of track 2 from about 4 o'clock to 7 o'clock, side 4 has a few surface marks/light scratches between 7 & 9 o'clock and also a light scratch across the side at about 11 o'clock and also a 3 cm. 'feely' type scratch in track 2 at about 12 o'clock.
Under halogen lights sides 1 & 2 have a few more light marks visible and side 3 & 4 have quite a few more faint marks visible with side 4 having more than side 3.
Play grades as EX/EX/VG-/VG.
All music/vocal passages play clearly & brightly with no evidence of groovewear to the vocals/music.
There is light surface noise in the run in areas of all 4 sides and briefly in just a few places on all 4 sides.
Sides 1 & 2 play very well with just a little surface crackle between a couple of tracks on each side.
The scratch in track 2 of side 3 gives a few 'clicks', a couple of 'skips' and a 'stick' otherwise the side would have graded as EX-. The scratch on side 4 in track 2 gives a few 'clicks' but no skips, sticks or jumps. Also on side 4 there are a few 'clicks' near the end of 'Revolution 9'.
Side opening sleeve grades VG-.
The sleeve is complete but has a split along the whole length of one of the bottom edges, has wear on the spine although the title & catalogue number are unaffected, one of the top edges has a split from the opening for about half of the edge length.
Plain white inners grade as EX.
ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE ASK.
I dispatch records in brand new, bought in mailers designed for the process. Before placing in the mailer I take LPs out of the sleeve place both in a polysleeve and between two card stiffeners and if there is a picture sleeve I place the LP in a plain sleeve to prevent knifing of the picture sleeve. [all this costs £0.80/single LP].
I USE RECORD COLLECTOR GRADINGS AND USE A +/- WHERE I FEEL THAT IT'S APPROPRIATE.
(M) MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or unplayed should be mint.
(EX) EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of being played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging may have slight wear and/or creasing.
(VG) VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
(G) GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
(F) FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
(P) POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
(B) BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
