A hand made banger racing model of Material Man Derek 'The Undertaker' Caton.

What hasn't this man raced?

Recently retired from Banger Racing, Derek has been a true legend on the track, finding and racing the rarest of material with his W.I. Engineering team mates.

This model started life as a 1:43 Vanguards Rover P4 and has been fully prepared as any track car would be with as much detail as possible.

A whole load of work has gone into this car and has had both front wings cut, front bumper cut, inner front wings fabricated (to hide the usual 'gap' that you normally get!), doors plated, Derek's 'Coffin' roof fin made & attached.

This model was primered and then sprayed in W.I. Engineerings Traditional Black racing colours before the hand-made decals were applied.

Internally the model was stripped of all interior, a full H Frame built to fit the car, along with a Fuel Tank with fuel line and a bucket seat with full 5 point harness has been fitted.

I try and offer as much detail as possible on my models to get them as close as possible to those that have been on track.
