1. ‘’The Company’’ means East London Electronics Ltd. ‘’The Customer’’ means the person, firm
or company ordering, or hiring from the company. ‘’The Goods’’ or ‘’The Equipment’’ means the
subject matter of any order or contract of sale or hire.
2. GENERAL
All orders are accepted and goods supplied subject to the company’s express terms and conditions.
Any order placed by a customer shall constitute an offer to contract upon these express terms and
conditions, and no addition thereto or variation there from by the customer whether contained in the
Customer’s order or otherwise shall apply unless expressly agreed in writing by an official of the
Company.
3. GUARANTEE
In respect of goods the subject matter of any warranty or guarantee given by the manufacturers of
the same, the Company guarantees to the customers that such goods will be free from defects
caused by faulty materials or poor workmanship for a period of one year. Under this warranty the
Company will, at its option, either repair or give a replacement or equivalent quality or issue credit
to the customer for any goods found to be defective because of faulty maintenance by the Company
or poor workmanship provided that
a) The Company is notified in writing within 7 days of the customer first discovering any such defects;
b) The Goods have been used in an appropriate manner and/or as prescribed in the instructions
c) The defective Goods are returned to the Company at the Customer’s expense;
d) Examination by the Company of such Goods discloses to its satisfaction that such defects exits
and have not been caused by misuse, neglect, accident, improper storage, installation or handling
or by repair or alteration not effected by the Company;
e) The Goods not having been modified or repaired otherwise than by the Company or otherwise
interfaced with;
f) And the Customer shall pay to the Company the cost (as certified by the Company) of any
examination of such Goods as a result of which the Company denies liability.
g) Warranty does not include printer heads and any type of printer problem (ie paper jam etc).
4. All goods remain the property of East London Electronics Ltd until all the payments are received
in full. Goods are not offered on trial basis. Company doesn’t accept any return, exchange or refund
once the goods leave the Company premises. If the Customer changes their mind after confirming
sales order. A restocking fee of 40% is charged on total sales.
5. The programming is not covered in the guarantee of the machine. There will be a charge
according to the programming problems.
6. It is the Customer’s responsibility to ensure products and specifications are suitable for their
needs, and should check this with manufacturer before purchase.
7. If order is taken over telephone, website or email, Customer is responsible to ensure products
are suitable for their needs.
8. SOFTWARE & TRAINING
No responsibility is accepted for loss of any data arising from the supply of goods or services
resulting from the invoice. Customers are advised to take necessary precautions to backup their data.
Training will be provided if customer wishes to do so. If the customer needs more training after that,
appropriate charges will apply. Customer is responsible for the Software Licenses.
9. JURISDICTION
The contract shall be governed by and construed and interpreted in accordance with English law
and the English Courts shall have jurisdiction for the purposes of settlement of any disputes arising
out of or in connection with the contract.
10. TRANSPORT COSTS
The customer is entirely responsible for returning costs i.e Cab Fees, Delivery Charges, Petrol for
bringing down goods to our premises that are covered under the RTB warranty. It is then the
Companies responsibility to send good(s) back to supplier. Upon repair/replacement the Customer
then must collect from our premises. Customer is welcome to make their own arrangements to
arrange collection. If the company does this it will be chargeable.
