I already had Teachers series 1 & 2 on DVD and loved them. I thought the show was extremely well written and the balance between the personalities of the main group of teachers just right. This series follows on the 'Teachers' name but there are a few changes which are obvious. Some of the main cast have vanished without reference or mention but you easily pick up the show again. New character Matt is quite annoying but that's probably just me finding his voice hard to listen to! Lindsay seems to be the replacement for Susan but she doesn't have the maturity Susan does to be the calming force over the rest of the flock, although she is very likable. Another change is the way that the comical random background action present in series 1 and 2 is now much more obvious. I find this a bit disappointing. For example, in every corridor scene you see children battering each other and the teachers just walking past. The 'random' moments are much more over the top. Over-all, its still Teachers, and it's still funny but in my opinion not as good as series 1 & 2. Same holds true for the final series, 4.Read full review
I loved Teachers when it was on the tv, i had all the other DVD'S except this one, found it on ebay at a good price, the quality was good and the tranaction was quick. Teachers series 3 is a great DVD, i would recomend it.
Kurt, Brian, Penny, Matt and Lindsay are the teachers no parent would want teaching their kids and they're back for a new 13 part series that sees them making friends, falling out, trying to figure out the opposite sex, smoking in the playground and dealing with lippy pupils. It's business as usual for the young teachers specialising in immaturity rather than the traditional subjects. Brian and Kurt are still dreaming of getting laid and they've met their match with new biology teacher Lindsay - she can drink a pint in 1.3 seconds, she likes curry and she can out-blunt any of the boys! Back in the photocopier room, Matt (married with kids) and Penny have managed to find the perfect work/play balance and are enjoying some extra curricular activity of their own. And what of everyone's favourite teacher who quit teaching to go travelling in the last series? Andrew Lincoln returns as Simon and he doesn't receive the welcome he had hoped for when he surprises his old mates.Read full review
Not as good as series 1 or 2... This was the start of the decline, which ultimately led to the axing of the series after series 4... If you have not seen the series before - but series one or 2 1st
Bloody hilarious. Have not seen this series for a while so when I finally got to watch it I thoroughly enjoyed it.
