CONTACTING US

When contacting us through the Ebay e-mail system, you will receive an automated reply. Don't worry, we are still here but e-mails are answered in strict rotation and it may be a while before your turn. We receive some 3000 e-mails a day so please be patient. Replies rarely take more than one working day but further e-mails make matters worse! Please note, e-mail is the only way we can accept changes of address. We do not see notes attached to orders until after they are printed and we do not see notes attached to Paypal payments at all!

PHOTOGRAPHS

All photographs shown are eBay stock photos and are not a representation of the exact book listed. Covers may vary and all of our books are second hand unless otherwise stated

ITEM SPECIFICS AND DETAILED ITEM INFO

This too is provided by eBay as part of our bulk uploading privileges. Most of it will be accurate but if you intend to rely on any of it, please e-mail us to check first

MULTIPLE PURCHASE DISCOUNTS

Even though we are just about the cheapest large scale provider on eBay, we still offer multiple purchase discounts! For UK customers, each book after the first attracts a 65p discount providing items are paid for in one payment. This is because the saving that we are happy to pass on to you is based on a reduction in per transaction Paypal charges. This is automatically deducted for you at checkout. Our overseas customers still get the 65p deduction for each additional book, but this cannot be automated within eBay so you will have to request an amended invoice

EXTREME POSTAGE DISCOUNTS - UK ONLY

We think we are the first eBay bookseller offering this feature but now UK MAINLAND customers can buy an unlimited amount of books with a maximum postage of just £10. Unfortunately, eBay doesn't allow this to be automated but if your invoice shows total postage of greater than £10, just e-mail us for an amended invoice and we will reduce it to £10. So once you reach this threshold, almost everything in stock is just 99p and no further postage!!! Items posted this way will be sent by courier and may take 4-6 days to arrive

CONDITION OF OUR BOOKS

There are so many different grading systems within the book selling world that we have invented our own! Please note that we never recommend buying anything below Like New as a present. Any other grade may include previous owner's names or inscriptions inside the cover

LIKE NEW - Mint, good enough as a present, just like you would find in a shop!

VERY GOOD - Very Good condition with no significant faults. Clearly used but very few minor defects. Will look good on your book case after reading but may not be suitable as a present unless hard to find elsewhere

GOOD - Usual signs of a well read book but good overall condition. May not look good on your bookcase after reading and not suitable as a present unless hard to find elsewhere

ACCEPTABLE - Major signs of wear and tear. Very well read. Reading copy only. May contain very occasional highlighting or annotation, very minor water damage or similar but will be fully readable. Will not be for the collector or suitable as a present unless hard to find elsewhere
