16mo, 253 light economy numbered pages with black and white illustrated frontispiece.

Condition/Notes : Quite good. The red linen front board has wear to edges and bumps to corners with wear and marking to face. Black ink print. Back similar with some light scratching. Spine browned and sunned with wear to top and tail and fading to print in places. Front paste-down blank with pencil script top lh corner "Re-read Sept. 86 Re-read Feb. '96". Facing e/p blank followed by frontispiece with stamp "Not to be taken away XIX Club", verso black and white illustration "Directly in front of her the Earl of Meltoun was telling her stories of his college days" (Page 87.). Title follows with details, blank verso. Contents follow : Book I, Book II, Book III. Pages all quite good with toning to edges and some usage marking and some foxing in places. Blank e/p. Dusting to edges. Binding quite tight and fully intact. A good example of this small pocket edition of Oppenhiem's work.
