I'm a modeller with nearly 30 years experience & I know what modellers are looking for - namely the stuff they cannot easily find elsewhere!
I try and list things regularly, so please consider adding me to your 'favourite sellers' list.
If you need an item, let me know & I will see if I can track it down. I also sometimes get more than one copy of something in stock!
I try and describe items as accurately as possible. If I know for sure that something is Out of Print / Production, I will say so.
Keep your eyes peeled over the coming weeks and months - hundreds more excellent books and occasionally model kits / accessories to be listed!
OTHER SELLERS USING MY DESCRIPTIONS!!
Recently I noticed some unscrupulous sellers using my descriptions of items verbatim - a clear breach of eBay policy. You will always recognize my auctions by the fact that I describe an item as best I can, and always provide an image of the item for sale with the little 'ID card' on it.
PLEASE ALSO CHECK OUT MY OTHER AUCTIONS FOR MANY MORE RARE & COLLECTABLE ITEMS

The Squadrons of the Fleet Air Arm (A5 size version) - Ray Sturtivant & Theo Ballance - Air Britain
SUPERB work on the FAA Squadrons by renowned aviation author, Ray Sturtivant (who sadly died in 2008). Huge amounts of information on each Squadron, and around 600 photos. This is an unusual A5 sized version (of what is normally an A4 oversized work weighing over 2 kilos) and quite possibly a first edition - Now difficult to find!
Here's the product description:
Every past and present first and second-line squadron is listed, including Australian, Canadian and Dutch naval squadrons where their unit numbering makes them relevant. The coverage for each squadron comprises a concise narrative history, the squadron badge (if any), photos of representative aircraft in most instances, detailed tables of aircraft types flown with dates and examples, lists of commanding officers and lists of bases including detachments of all sizes. In addition the new edition includes a brief summary of the different types of identification marking carried over the years by squadron aircraft, and also lists battle honours awarded. Detailed indexes cover aircraft equipment, UK and overseas locations, ships names mentioned in the lists, plus a new index of commanding officers names. Detailed appendices, all updated, cover Boyd Trophy awards, ships names of FAA stations, FAA bases at home and overseas, aircraft carriers, Mac-ships, helicopter-carrying ships, pre- war FAA numbered flights and miscellaneous FAA units, FAA Flag Officers and major WW2 warships fitted with catapults. The latter, and also the lists of carriers and helicopter-carrying ships, include tables of relevant squadrons and flights, with dates and aircraft types with examples. As a cross-reference, there are lists of the identity numbers allocated in recent years to Wasp, Wessex and Lynx flights. There is also a list of naval aircraft currently held by the Yeovilton and Nowra museums. The whole range of side markings carried on naval aircraft since 1933 is covered in a series of detailed appendices. By reference to these lists and the accompanying general explanation, in conjunction with the information given for each squadron, it should be possible to identify the unit of most naval aircraft bearing a full side marking. Squadron badges were drawn by the late Mike Keep, editor of 'Scale Aircraft Modelling' magazine. The jacket design portrays naval aircraft from Dugald Cameron's excellent Squadron Prints series.

This cost is based on the WEIGHT of the item PLUS PACKAGING
I try my best to make my shipping costs fair & often end up UNDER QUOTING actual shipping costs.

If you insist on paying before I have invoiced you, then I will assume that you only require a standard postage service (not signed for)
If I inadvertently charge you too much I will happily refund the difference.
I will combine postage costs - I will provide a combined quote for multiple items when I invoice you
If you have any issues with postage costs, loss, damage or any other issue then please, please GET IN TOUCH BEFORE LEAVING FEEDBACK. I am happy to try and resolve any issues amicably.
P&P International Bidders
I try my best to give an accurate shipping cost at the time of listing an item - please select your country from the drop down menu in the 'postage' tab. The shipping costs is not set in stone! I can sometimes undercut these prices by using a Courier. Obviously, multiple purchases will be shipped together with one postage cost.
I will give you an accurate quote for multiple items (based on combined weight) at your request. Shipping to New Zealand, Australia, Canada & The USA usually costs more than shipping to Europe. The only way to know for sure about combined shipping costs is to GET IN TOUCH FOR A QUOTE BEFORE THE AUCTION ENDS.
*BUYERS PLEASE NOTE* - anything over 2 kilos usually attracts a higher shipping rate, even for books, so I might have to break down orders over 2 kilos into separate parcels.
PLEASE - do not assume that I will send something by registered or recorded delivery! I will give you the option of standard airmail or recorded / signed for delivery when I send you an invoice. IF YOU PAY BEFORE I HAVE INVOICED YOU THEN I MUST ASSUME YOU ARE HAPPY WITH STANDARD DELIVERY! Recorded or signed for delivery by Royal Mail is expensive (at least £5 per item) - I will work with you to send the item in the cheapest, safest way possible. This may mean sending it by Courier as opposed to Royal Mail.
I will ship anywhere in the world EXCEPT CHINA
