Comes with numbered certificate of Authenticity watermarked with the old south dowling st brewery and signed by the authorised reproduction house and the copy right owner.
This is a reproduction of the original painting that is now held in a private collection.
The image is printed on premium water, fade and tear proof satin polypropylene and is suitable for framing with mounting board or can be trimmed to suit any standard A3 frame.

THE SUPPER SCENE
A world away from today’s social gatherings,
the supper scene epitomises the glamour
and elegance of the 1930s.
This painting is a depiction of the ‘supper room’ of the
Mansions Hotel at Kings Cross.
The original painting was hung outside the
York Hotel in King Street, Sydney.
The image demonstrates the differences in social status
and drinking environments between the
hotel dining room and the public bar.
Although the scene is of a dining room, note the absence
of any food on the tables - the only offering is a glass of beer.
A true advertising icon of it’s day!
