A little fast at times....but it says cardio on the tin....that's what you get.

It's a great Dvd but the routines are confusing for someone trying to exercise for the first time it is moving to quickly: I would like to see a slower version of this Dvd for first time users.
Fun dance workout. Worth trying as can do in your own home. Also mat workout availablle which is good to combine with dance workout. Very unique to other workout videos. New moves and sequences never seen or tried before. Not havd the DVD's for long so will have to wait and see if results are seen. But overall worth buying or a great gift for a birthday or christmas present.
I thought I would be able to just 'get stuck in' to this exercise dvd - definately not! It is going to take at least a month to learn the combinations before I will be able to do the actual workout. The workout is very fast paced and when the combinations are put together to the music it looks totally different from when you are trying to learn the routines. My advice is to perhaps try to master at least 2 combo's per day until you get the hang of it. The dvd is not great if you have a small space as there is a lot of jumping around. It is certainly going to be a challenge for me but I will stick at it and keep trying the combo's. Another tip is to make up names for the moves as Tracy does not keep reminding you what your doing. For example 'walk half circle' 'step left/right' ' walk back' 'jump puddle' etc... it helps so you can talk yourself through it as the actual workout is so fast it's easy to get lost along the way. Even by just practising the combo's works up a sweat so even if you think 'I'll never get the hang of this' just keep practising the combo's which is exercise in itself.Read full review
I've got a couple of Tracy Anderson dvds, and the exercises on them are brilliant and target the areas you hate with fantastic and quite quick results BUT - her direction is awful, she can't count for say repetitions from the left to the right - so you do uneven amounts if you just follow her, and her dance routines are hard to follow even if you haven't got two left feet. There are also a few added skips hops and jumps in herdance cardio depending on which view you watch. If you perservere to learn the workouts howver - you will, as she says, see fantastic results. As for the videos and her direction in them - like all reports - 'could try harder'.
