A true triple bunk, 3 beds high, not to be confused with the double/singles offered by most others. (Although we do make these)

We make these beds to order in our workshop in Bournemouth from Scandinavian Redwood Pine. Beds will normally be dispatched within 21 - 28 days of order on a 3 day delivery. You will be informed by e-mail when it leaves us and advised when to expect delivery, we can try to arrange delivery on a specific weekday. Saturday deliveries can be made, for an extra £25.00 charge.

These beds come in 2 widths to take either 76cm (2'6") or 91cm (3') mattresses of standard 190.5cm (6'3") length, mattresses are not included in the price. Please select the width you want. European sized beds can be made. Please email the mattress size it is to fit. ian@pinebed.co.uk.

They come 'in the raw' ready for you to apply a wax, stain or other choice of finish.

The bed ends come already assembled, you just have to bolt the rails in between them. Our slats are mounted on tape and just unroll and fix with six screws per bed. All fittings, an allen key and simple to follow instructions are included, you only need a phillips screw driver to complete them. They are really solid once assembled. Read our Feedback.

The bottom 2 beds ends are both made in one piece and are always going to be bunks. The top 3rd bed is separate and could be used as a single later on. The ladder can be fitted anywhere on the sides or the end of the bed as shown. The guard rail on the centre bed is approx 5cm (2") higher than the mattress. If we make it any higher, it restricts access.

These beds can be made to take shorter mattresses for a £15.00 surcharge and we can also supply shorter mattresses. E-mail us to discuss your needs. ian@pinebed.co.uk.

Overall sizes

As shown; Top of the legs height 198cm (78"), length 201cm (79"). for mattress width 76cm, bed width is 86.5cm, mattress 91cm it is 102cm wide.

We can make shorter lengths than this, going down in 7.6cm (3inch) increments, and supply mattresses to fit. Please email for further details. ian@pinebed.co.uk.

The gap between the top of a bed slat and the slat of the bed above is 71cm (28")

To the top of the top slat is 154.5cm (61") high, then plus a mattress thickness, please check you are not to close to the ceiling. We can shorten them a little if you have lower ceilings.

This bed will fit easily in a room with 244cm (8ft) ceilings. Just to be safe please measure your ceiling height and let us know it when you order your beds.

If you really have really high ceilings we can leave a space underneath for storage, or more room between the beds.

We do recommend these beds are fixed to the wall. or the back legs to the floor.

Bunk beds are not suitable for children under 6 years of age.

Carriage and packing £50.00. mainland U.K. Please use Ireland postage option £80.00 for Highlands and Islands.

Carriage to Europe £140.00. For beds to take European mattress sizes please contact us. All of our prices include U.K. VAT.

Sorry for the cost of packing and carriage but this is just a reflection of what it costs me to pack and send them, these are heavy articles. You are welcome to collect them unwrapped and save these charges.
