Hi, welcome to my auction for a genuine British Triumph X75 Hurricane.
This bike is only 1 of approx. 1200 ever made. 2/3 of these were exported around the world, the rest, approx. 400, were sold in the UK, of which this is one.
PLEASE NOTE; THIS BIKE HAS NEVER BEEN EXPORTED OR REGISTERED OVERSEAS.
The bike is in good original condition, as you can see from the photos.
I have owned this bike for the past 8 years and my step-father before that for 5 years.
I do not have to stress the point that Hurricanes are rare and British ones even rarer.
To make life easier my step-father had solid state ignition fitted and has also had hard valve seats fitted so that it can run on unleaded fuel.
I am reluctantly selling the bike but I don't think I am doing it any favours hiding it away.
I am looking for someone who will look after and cherish it, maybe even show it.
I have set a high reserve so only genuine buyers will bid.
Viewing is available by appointment only, no tyre kickers or anoraks allowed only serious buyers.
I will be happy to answer any questions you have.
Upon end of auction, £500 deposit to be paid by Paypal within 48 hours and the remainder to be paid by BANK TRANSFER ONLY BEFORE COLLECTION OF BIKE.
Please do not ask for a buy it now price as this listing will run to it's end date.
Good luck everyone, happy bidding.
On 01-Sep-14 at 12:34:39 BST, seller added the following information:
Further to recently received information, I now understand that only 34 of the 1200 Hurricanes that were made stayed in this country and were not exported overseas.
As this Hurricane is one of the only 34 to stay in this country you can appreciate that this bike demands a higher price due to it's rarity.
Due to it's rarity this bike is a good investment for anyone as it will only go up in value and will be the next Vincent Black Shadow.
So if you are looking for an investment don't hesitate to bid.
