A little about this Convertible Triumph TR7 V8, I have owned this vehicle since 1990, I took it off the road in 1993 where it remained in storage until the refurbishment was completed in 2008, car has passed all MOTs since with no advisory's and is used for summer only (SORN during winter months) stored in garage and also covered with bespoke internal cover, battery connected to a solar trickle charger when not in use
Covered less than 2,000 miles since returning to the road.
V8 SD1 conversion carried out using S&S Preparations conversion kit; you will find these people on the Internet and are TR7/8 specialists.
Good bits - new - petrol tank and fuel lines, brake lines including S/S braided flexible, Hood, 4 branch manifolds leading to twin pipe exhaust system (the best one in my opinion, note the S/S steel rear pipes), polyurethane suspension bushes all round (including gear change extension) polyurethane sub frame bushes, new headlight panel, brand new Minator wheels and tyres less than 500 miles, up rated Halogen headlamps, new carpets, replaced seats and door cards, new handbrake cable.
Engine has had a top end overhaul including new - rockers and rocker shafts, cam and hydraulic tappets, timing chain and gears, new plugs and 8mm performance HT leads .
All coolant hose’s and breather hose’s replaced, Starts first time every time
Uprated - Spax adjustable dampers and uprated 200lb springs, up rated and vented front disc brakes, front brake callipers overhauled with new pistons, seals and pads last year.
Too many smaller items to mention but include brake master cylinder refurbished, clutch master and slave cylinder, receipts for all parts purchased are available.
Bad bits - boot is untrimmed at present, under bonnet not as good (no major issues) as I would like, paint has some very small blisters, could do with a carb tune has SU's with K&N filters runs fine but could do with a little expert tuning I think.
Car cover and set of original TR7 alloy’s with tyres can be included if correct price is agreed
MOT – 27th May 2012 – 12 month MOT can be added if the correct price is agreed
