Trojan Mini Motor fitted to a Ladies rod braked traditional Hercules bicycle.
Good condition. A lot of the brake parts on the bike are new and brakes are all fully functioning. Gears are functioning fine. Slow pucture on front tyre.
There is some rust on the wheels, but no more than you would expect from a 60+ year old bike.
The frame and tank have been hand painted black (I've started stripping the black paint off the tank to reveal the correct Blue).
The engine turns over and is all there and looks very clean.
BUT there is no spark!
I bought this bike last summer with the intention of fixing it up but I haven't got round to it and it doesn't look like I ever will, so it's time to pass it on.
It is not road registered and has no Tax or MOT. (But join THE NATIONAL AUTOCYCLE AND CYCLEMOTOR CLUB [http://www.thebuzzingclub.co.uk/], get it dated for about £7, take it for an MOT and then get a log book from DVLA).
Could be a nice little fun project for someone.
I'm starting the bidding at 99p
Ideally I would like it to be picked up and to be paid cash.
I live in Walthamstow NE London (bottom of the M11, end of the Victoria Line).
I could leave at my parents in a little village outside Cambridge or at My inlaws in a little village outside Swindon for you to pick up (but you may have to wait for when I'm visiting there).
I could post it for £35 with Paisley Freight (but you may have to wait a little while, while I find a bike box and wrap it up).
It is too heavy to consider posting to Europe or further overseas (unless you are an eccentric millionaire).
No returns on this, it is a project not a concours d'elegance, classic bike.
