About this fix...

Nearly all X-clamp replacement fixes are the same.  They work in the same way, by removing the two X-clamps from the underside of the motherboard and replacing them with screws or bolts. 

Some of the early kits that were being sold used over sized bolts and this meant you needed to drill the chasis and or fins.  Now most decent kits come with 'Exact sized screws' meaning you dont need to drill anything, they fit perfectly. There is NO drilling required for this kit.

Where kits on ebay and elsewhere differ most is in the thermal pase and instructions you are given.  You can get paste in many forms.  My kits have evolved over the last year as I have been searching for the BEST paste avaliable. My kits now come with a hybrid pase that contains silver and graphite.  I have found this to be nice and thick so as to allow you to create a nice thin even layer on the dies.  It also conducts the heat a lot better than normal silver paste. You will notice that not many other sellers tell you specifications for their paste.  This is either because they dont know, dont care or it is of poor quality.  My paste has a Thermal Conductivity of >4.5W/m-k and Thermal Resistance of <0.067C-in²/W

The instructions you get with this kit are excellent.  I have developed these and added more and more pictures over time.  The instructions have to be downloaded from my website because to print them would simply take too much paper.  They are 18 pages of detailed instructions with pictures. 

This kit also comes with an opening tool.  This has everything you need to open your xbox.  It presses all the little tabs in on the case at the same time making it so much easier to get it open.  It also comes with a T8 bit and a T10 bit for removing the screws.  It can even be used to open the wireless controller due to the bits being security bits :)

I honestly believe this kit to be the best of its kind.  If you are not happy I will be more than happy to refund.  Please check out my feedback, even the bad.

***As with all of these kinds of kits, it wont fix 100% of red ring xbox's out there, as there are some other causes of the RROD.  This kit generally works for 9/10 customers.  If this fix has already been done on your machine in the past then the chances of it working again are not as good as they are the first time.  You will only need new thermal paste and alcohol wipes for this anyway. ***
