For those of you who are keeping up, the move from Cold Comfort Cottage into this little 1865 end-of-terrace has rendered the clear-out of accrued
clutter even more necessary. All kinds of bits and bobs have had to stay packed in newsprint, inside boxes slid beneath work surfaces, under tables
and in the spare bedroom which, just like the one at the cottage, still has no room for an actual bed. That's still in pieces leaning against the bedroom
wall, so before I can have visitors I need to get a shimmy on and make some room. Here goes:
Out of the box today we have....
An unusually pretty and curvy, delicate pink, art deco pressed glass dressing table or trinket tray.
I imagine that this would originally have formed part of part of a lady's bedroom set; but I personally have these glass trays in various sizes
dotted around the house on side tables, on top of chests, on the bathroom window sills; anywhere where I am likely to plonk down something
small and easily lost without thinking. These trays are home to buttons, beads, pins, earrings - even keys dropped on to my hall table - and
ensure that they don't roll away or get knocked to the ground and hoovered up...
The price quoted includes delivery via Royal Mail 2nd class signed-for. Local pickup is always an option. Use NP4 6JU as a rough guide to my location. More specific info forthcoming as appropriate.
I have taken photos with and without flash.
Please check out my other items while you're here. I am changing direction, so am thoroughly de-
redundant clothes and accessories, plus home items. I also sell a few things on behalf
family from time to time. I never list anything I would not
still wear or use myself; and
a label snob, I always go for quality. As for condition: if not new, all items listed will have been well-taken-
care-of and will be clean, undamaged unless stated, and with plenty of useful wear left.
