VINTAGE DANSETTE "CONQUEST" RECORD PLAYER - 1960S

Here we have an absolute cracker,  a fantastic Dansette "CONQUEST" auto change record player from the 1960's in stunning red and cream. This player is synonymous with the swinging sixties and reflects the era perfectly. 

This model comes in vivid red and cream and is very striking.  It has knitted cloth speaker cover, 3 brass tipped control knobs for on/off volume, tone and bass, and original Dansette logo. Finally to finish off the look it is mounted on 4 dansette legs.  
 
This model has a valve amplifier which gives an authentic, rich 1960s sound which is in perfect working order,  after a full service including any faulty/suspect parts being replaced.  The sound and output is excellent, very crisp, clear, powerful and undistorted.

The 4 speed Monarch deck autochanger plays at speeds 16, 33, 45 and 78 manually and automatically.  Eight records can be stacked for automatic operation with perfect function, the records drop correctly and the pick up arm selects start with precision.

The turntable, motor and all mechanisms have all been fully serviced, oiled and adjusted for correct operation.  Any aging parts have been replaced.  It has also been fitted with a new, correctly fused 3 amp plug in keeping with modern safety standards.  I have also fitted a brand new stylus and flip over cartridge for optimum sound quality!

The cabinet is a stunning red and cream and in excellent condition.  The cream upholstery is original but the red has been replaced with new and is in "mint" condition.  The conquest was one of the finest models produced by Dansette and the look and sound are sublime.  The work done is to a very high standard.  Overall it looks fantastic! The photos speak for themselves!  The player will be well packed for a safe delivery so bid with confidence.  I have been servicing these for 40 years and this is a fantastic example of a 60's Dansette, so don't miss it!
