VINTAGE DANSETTE "MAJOR" RECORD PLAYER - 1950S

Fully serviced by "electroboogie" - over 40 years experiencece

Here for auction is a fantastic Dansette "Major" record player from the early 1950's in superb original condition.  The player is one of the most iconic ever produced by Dansette with a classic two tone covering of green and grey, with a stunning cream vertical lined front loudspeaker panel, complete with original on/off volume and tone control knobs.

This model has a valve amplifier which gives an authentic, rich 1950s sound .  The sound and output is excellent, very crisp, clear, powerful and undistorted as it has been given a full and correct service.

The 4 speed BSR deck autochanger plays at speeds 16, 33, 45 and 78 manually and automatically.  Eight records can be stacked for automatic operation with perfect function, the records drop correctly and the pick up arm selects start with precision.

The turntable, motor and all mechanisms have all been fully serviced, oiled and adjusted for correct operation.  Any aging parts have been replaced with new to ensure years of trouble free use .  It has also been fitted with a new, correctly fused 3 amp plug in keeping with modern safety standards.  I have also fitted a brand new stylus fitted for optimum sound quality!

 
The casing is a stunning green/grey and in fantatastic condition for its age with very minor wear. They don't come much better in their original condition and this one is the less common green which sets it apart.  The winning bidder won't be disappointed! Overall it looks fantastic! The photos speak for themselves!  I have also added vintage Dansette adverts free! The player will be well packed for a safe delivery so bid with confidence.  I have been servicing and selling these for 40 years and this is a fantastic example of a 1950's Dansette, so don't miss it!
