The vivarium measures 1220mm long x 610mm wide and 1216mm high

THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT AT A GREAT PRICE

The  'arboreal' AX vivariums are designed specifically for reptiles which like to climb.

They provide plenty of height and come in 3 different sizes, all of which are 2ft deep and 4ft high.

These vivariums are a nice alternative to the usual terrestrial housing, looking great in any household.

Due to the size, these vivariums have a central rail which divides the glass pains, providing 2 glass sliding doors at the top and bottom.

 A CAX cabinet is also available for each vivarium of which we sell these separately or with the vivarium so plesae browse in our shop and if you do not see them then plesae feel free to email us

TOUGHENED GLASS
All the glass used in these vivariums is toughened to BS6206A kite marked standards. This means it has up to 5 times its original strength, and if broken, the glass breaks into small blunt fragments. Normal plate glass, if damaged, breaks into sharp long shards. As the glass is used as sliding glass doors it is crucial that only safety glass is used to prevent serious injury.Viv Exotic aim to conform to BS EN 14072:2003 for glass used along with furniture.
 
VENTILATION
Each vivarium contains the correct number of vents to provide optimum temperature and humidity levels. Ø65mm circular vents are
positioned at both the top and bottom of the back panel allowing a steady flow of air throughout the vivarium. Each vent contains a plentiful number of holes which are big enough to allow air to flow in and out, but small enough to prevent live foods from escaping.
 
FOREST STEWARDSHIP COUNCIL
All the timber comes from recycled sources or FSC sustainable forests. The FSC product label allows consumers worldwide to recognise products that support the growth of responsible forest management worldwide. Environmentally appropriate forest management ensures that the harvest of timber and non-timber products maintains the forest's biodiversity, productivity and ecological processes.
 
 
EASY TO ASSEMBLE
Viv Exotic  have improved the self assembly construction. All units have fewer parts and nearly 50% less assembly fittings. This means that assembly should take half the time and go together first time.
 
DEEPER
This increases the floor surface area, improving the living environment for the pets. This extra space can be used to provide interesting natural settings, such as tunnels or burrows, to enhance the living conditions for your pet.
 
SOLID BACK
We believe that 3mm hardboard is not suitable for a professional vivarium. Its low compression structure and paint or foil surface means a very short product lifespan. This is why Viv Exotic use the same robust board for all panels. When sealed, the construction lasts many years longer than cheaper competitors. After all the panels are 5 times thicker!
 
 
CABLE ACCESS POINTS
Outlet points have been formed in the edge of the back panel for cable management.  Any size of plug or fitting can easily pass through prior to securing the lid.  To remove calbes or replace, simply loosen the cams and lift the lid.  Cable access points are located at each end, along the top.  Either point can be easily closed with silicon if not required.
 
 
SEALING YOUR VIVARIUM
Although the melamine itself is waterproof, the exposed chipboard may swell if
water is absorbed. We therefore recommend that you seal your vivarium with
silicon once constructed to prevent leakage and to help ensure that your product
has a long and healthy life. This will make your vivarium completely waterproof.

Simply run silicon along all inside joins and areas of exposed chipboard (such as cam holes) and leave overnight to dry. We also suggest that a small amount of silicon is run internally around the edge of the vent holes and tracking to help ensure that no moisture will enter the chipboard. It is critical that all joins and areas of exposed chipboard are cleaned before sealing.

WHY WOOD

ROBUST - Wooden vivariums are not only stronger and stackable, but
they are also less prone to cracking, chipping and shattering, unlike
fragile glass vivariums.

WATER RESISTANT - Melamine faced chipboard can be made completely waterproof if sealed with silicon around all exposed edges. Although we do not recommend, we have tested this by putting several inches water inside one of our vivariums and left to stand for several weeks without a leak or swelling. It is critical that all joins and areas of exposed chipboard are cleaned then sealed correctly.

RETENTION OF HEAT - Due to the fact that wood is a great insulator, heat is retained more readily saving your energy cost and consequently helping towards the environment

MALLEABLE - Wood is an easy material to drill or cut, which makes alterations or improvements, such as adding lighting or heating units, a simple chore.

FASHIONABLE - All our vivariums are made with the most popular wood finishes, helping to fit into most homes becoming a spectacular focal point in any room.

2 YEAR WARRANTY

All of our vivariums have a standard 12 month warranty. If you fill out the warranty card provided along with the vivarium, you will receive an extra 12 months free, giving you a total of 2 years warranty from the date of purchase.

The standard and extended warranty covers for defective parts which have failed under normal use. We shall not replace parts that have been damaged under abnormal conditions or that which have been subjected to improper use. Please also note, it is important that you seal your vivarium to prevent moisuture entering into the exposed chipboard. We will not replace parts that have been water damaged due to insufficient sealing. If the vivarium is not sealed correctly this will invalidate the warranty.

STACKABLE VIVARIUMS

The VX Vivarium Range can be stacked ontop of one another, providing increased housing for all reptile enthusiasts. We can supply stylish silver feet which are manually attached onto the bottom of the stack to help elevate from the floor.

CHOICE OF COLOURS

These vivariums are available in a variety of modern colours to suit every household.  All the board used is made from 30% recycled material with the remainder coming sustainable forests.

As a reputable and very well established aquatic supplier, Aquacadabra abides by the Distance Selling Regulations and our terms and conditions are in accordance with this. Our website features an extensive online Help section which covers all eventualities with orders; together with easy to complete forms to enable us to address any problems in as quick an efficient a timeframe as possible. To summarise however, please find below the terms and conditions that apply when placing orders with Aquacadabra:

We hope that you are satisfied with the product(s) that you purchase from us; if however you decide that the item is inappropriate for your requirements then we are happy for you to send the item back to us. The item should be in an unopened and unused condition and you should notify us within 14 days that you wish to return the item to us. You will be liable to pay the postage for the return of the product. We will provide you with the necessary returns address and a reference number for your records. Should the item be returned to us in the appropriate condition, we will refund you the cost of the item excluding any carriage paid to ship the goods to you initially.  

We aim to have all orders placed fulfilled within 14 working days of receipt of order (although it is usually much quicker than this). Please be aware that after bank holidays there is always a back log of orders for us to work through. Should 14 working days have past and you have still not received your order, then please contact us and we will be able to look into and resolve the matter. Usually this is due to a courier being unable to locate an address, and unfortunately problems can from time to time be encountered when using any third party courier service. Once we have discussed the matter we will either ensure that the original item is tracked and expedited by the courier, send a replacement should the original have been lost in transit or provide a refund. Please note that should a parcel be lost it takes 14 days before we can claim for the lost parcel. 

If goods are delivered either faulty or damaged, then please contact us immediately. We will then either arrange for replacements to be shipped to you, or to provide a refund for the item. All of the products that we sell, unless otherwise stated are brand new and therefore covered by the full manufacturers warranty. Should the item develop a fault during the warranty period then please contact us immediately and we will resolve the matter in as timely a matter as practicable. This will be by either sending a replacement item, sending a replacement spare part or on occasion the manufacturer will deal with the problem directly. We aim to resolve this type of problem in as timely a manner as possible.

Returns

Your Right to Cancel and Returns: 
There are a number of circumstances when you may wish to cancel and/or return goods ordered.    
 
Should you find that an order placed is unsuitable for your requirements, the Company will provide you with a full refund for any UNUSED and UNOPENED item(s) returned to us within 7 days of purchase. On such occasions, you must contact the Company in writing (or via email sent to aquacadabraebay@aol.com or by sending a message through ebay  quoting your order number and the item(s) that you wish to be returned prior to returning the product(s). Once the Company has received and acknowledged your requirement, they will provide you with the necessary procedure which you must ensure is followed. The Company will provide a full refund for these item(s) once received in original condition, excluding any carriage charges that may have been incurred when initially dispatching the order.  

Please also note it is your responsibility to get the item back to us at your cost in a new undamaged condition.
  
When returning goods, we recommend that you use a courier or deliver them personally to our Head Office. The Company accepts no responsibility for damage that is incurred in transit when returning goods, or for goods that are lost in transit.    

Should an item become faulty, or you wish to return it as noted within section 1 of our terms and conditions, you must always contact us prior to sending the goods. 

If the goods returned to us are faulty, we will not pay the return postage unless we have provided permission for the goods to be returned to us.
