VDGG are not everyone's cup of tea but give them a try and immerse yourself in the sometimes complex songs and structures , you may just begin to like them . A cult prog band , this is one of their early 70s classic LPs , benefitting from a digital remaster it sounds better than ever ... and has extra tracks ... cool ! .

Extra tracks good for VDGG fans but the mix is not as good as the original, the drums are way down in level and Hammill's vocals are sibillanty.

This was the first VDGG record I ever owned way back then. To hear this on a Cd without the scratches is great. I have huge respect for the creativity and unique sounds created by the band, who then, were in their early 20's. No serious record collection is complete without some VDGG.
Purchased CD as it contains track only available on single at time of original LP release in 1970 , Boat of a million years ,a track I always get persistant friends of my wife who insist I must get up and dance at parties to ask DJ to play , as its the only track I dance to [ I never get to dance , but the look on DJs face always makes me smile ] , any one who knows Van der graafs work will appreciate this . Having owned single and album from release I recommend any King Crimson , early Pink Floyd fans get to hear this great psyche LP ,atmospheric vocals and keyboards , best track for me is Refugees totally haunting a must.
