Mix of woods
For restoration a swing mirror, with a three drawer base that needs TLC.
I am taking a stab at Victorian although the handles to the two smaller drawers are typical Georgian but once made no doubt they carried on using them.
The base carcass appears to be pine with a mahogany veneer with stringing around the edges some of which is missing. The drawers are hardwood & dovetailed. Front edges also have stringing. The centre drawer once had a lock replaced with a similar handle many years ago.
The mirror supports have a few old worm holes. One has come unstuck but is not damaged. If you look closely you can see the other (which is a bit loose) is fixed in the same way.
The glass is in really good order & is backed with one single piece of wood.
Any questions, more photos or information please ask.
The boring bit. Please read this!
Due to new PO prices I am using Myhermes more often. This will fall into the 2-5k bracket, £5.48 at time of listing. If you wish to have signed for or are in a remote postcode area (you know if you are) the extras are listed, please check their website as I cannot keep answering queries about costs to perfectly normal addresses. I add 25p for consumables and Ebay now take 10% from the amount. Total £6.40.
Buyer to provide tel no & safe place to leave if out .
I am not prepared to send overseas.
Please check with me BEFORE bidding if I will accept other means of payment. Collection is fine with cash being the accepted way I am always prepared to combine items and arrange the most cost effective method.
If you do want to use Royal Mail that is fine I just quote the cheapest I can. I always send a note to say the item has been despatched. If there is a tracking number I will tell you.
The 5* system is for despatch not for the delivery. I have always sent on the day I am paid or the next working day if the PO is closed/courier needs booking. If a courier or the post office takes longer then please don't mark me down! I also only cover the costs of P&P & use as much recycled material as possible but there are other costs & Paypal & Ebay take commission from PP charges! sellers will have to pass most of this on. Sorry but it's not our fault.
Please contact me before leaving negative feedback, we are all fallible & I will do my best to resolve any problems. I retain proof of posting and also photos of the packaging of items in case of any claims.
The accepted feedback routine is that the buyer leaves feedback & then the seller.
Thank you for viewing & happy bidding
