The Veritas low-angle block plane stands apart from all others. Its 12° bed angle and low cutting angle of 37° excel at working end grain. It has higher side wings ideal for shooting, finger grips in each side for better control, and a combined blade advance and lateral adjust that is the most sensitive and accurate available. Two blade guide screws prevent blade shifting. Its compact 162mm(6.3/8") long by 50mm(2") wide ductile cast iron body can take hard knocks, and the adjustable nosepiece does not extend past the body. Weighs 790g(1.3/4lb.) and includes a lapped, 3.2mm(1/8") thick by 42mm(1.5/8") wide, 25° blade, in A2 Various blades for working difficult wood, 38° and 50° bevel blades are available in A2 or O1 tool steel. The A2 toothed blade (38° bevel) works the most difficult grain, especially knots. The small, square teeth leave a textured surface that can be smoothed with a finely set plane or a scraper.

Faulty item will be dealt with in accordance with manufacturers warranty. Any cost to send item back will be refunded. The buyer must cover all cost of items bought in error.

  7. Any powertools under warranty repair after 30 days the buyer must pay for postage to send to us and £5.50 to return item back.

Damages & Delays

  1. We can not be held responsible for any items damaged, lost or delay in the post. In these case, if you have not taken insurance (if you have taken insurance we will normally refund or replace). any claims will need to be made directly with the royamail or courier.

Return policy details
Goods which have been purchased incorrectly must be returned to us within 7 working days of receipt & must be returned in it original packaging & unused. The buyer is responsible for the cost of returning the goods & once inspected a refund for the goods will be issued. Original carriage charges will not be refunded in this instance. Goods which are under warranty can also be returned to us during the warranty period. A full refund or replacement (if availalble) will be issued for goods that are returned within 7 working days. After this period we will repair the goods if possible or provide a replacement if not. If the customer is unable to return the goods we will inform you of your nearest warranty agent (powertools only). The cost of the warranty return is again at the cost of the buyer and to send the item back & refunds for the original carriage will not be given.
