Photoolex Grip The photoolex battery grip with IR remote control made specifically for the Canon 450D/500D/1000D DSLR Camears. Photoolex grips are made to the highest quality standards giving you comparable build  and functionality of an original manufacturers battery grip but without the premium price tag!  

The main benefit that this battery grip will provide is an extended supply of energy to your camera, by allowing you to hold two batteries it doubles the amount of shots that you can take without changing batteries to avoid running outof power at that critical moment. The battery compartment holds either two lithium batteries (original or third-party manufacturer) or a battery magazine for six AA batteries for use in emergencies. The other key benefit is that it has a secondary vertical shooting controls including the following:

  • Shutter release button (two stage lock focus and shoot)
  • Magnify/AF, Reduce/AE
  • Main Dial 
  • Apeture/exposure compensation button
The above controls together with the ergonomical design of thegrip improvises handling when shooting in a vertical position, which will help Stabilise your camera during critical shots. The vertical controls can also be can also be independently turned on our of for maximum flexibility.   The vertical grip also retains the tripod thread so that it can so that it can be used a normal when mounted onto a tripod head.  

The package also includes a IR remote control that allows you control the shutter without touching the camerabody ideal for self-portraits or minimising vibration and thus avoiding blurred images.
