Here we have a vintage 1940’s Crescent die cast metal dolls house cooker and earlier 1930’s ironing board. The ironing board is in a pale green and so quite rare, usually when you see them they are painted blue.

Both items are in good condition. The cooker is painted in a cream enamel and has some paint loss to the edges it is missing its shelves but is otherwise in fairly nice condition. The door opens and the hinges are still good. The knobs and handles are painted black and there is DCMT (die cast metal toys) Crescent on the front which dates it to after 1946. It has a 3 ring hob and top shelve. There is made in England on the bottom. It measures 4 ¼ inches high, 2 inches wide and 1 ¼ inches deep.

The ironing board is also made of metal and functions exactly as a full sized ironing board does. It folds flat and folds out again and has 2 catches on its base to lock the legs into position. There is some paint loss to one of the legs but otherwise in great condition. I have never seen the pale green colour before. It doesn’t have any maker’s marks on it and I think it was made in the 1930’s. It is nicely shaped with an iron stand at one end. It measures 5 ¾ inches long, 2 ¾ inches high, 1 ¼ inches wide when up and 1 ¾ inches wide when folded flat.

It measures 8.5 inches high, 3.5 inches wide, 2 ¼ inches deep.

I always combine postage so please look at my other items.

Photos are part of the description. Any chairs/tables etc in photos that are not described above are props and not part of this auction.

Most of my items are vintage or antique and so will have faults, I attempt to describe these in full but also rely on photos to assist in the description. I accept returns if an item is not as described so please read a description carefully to ensure an item is suitable for you. I am very flexible so please contact me if there are any problems I also welcome information about items I am selling particularly if I have listed something incorrectly. I’m a collector as well as a seller so honestly welcome information and advice.

I post abroad, if an item goes above £50 I will send it, if requested, tracked and insured both in the UK and internationally, I will quote both prices on request. Please email me for costs before bidding but as a guide the starting price (without insurance or tracking) for posting this item is,

£ 3.50 to northern Europe

£ 4.50 to USA

£4.70 to Australia

Obviously delivery would take approximately 5 days or so to both Europe and USA.

International buyers please wait for an invoice before paying as I need to manually input the postage costs.

I am happy to combine postage if you buy more than one item from me. Thank you for reading the boring bit, any questions please email me.
