If you want to buy something extra from my shop, I promised to give you full advantage of combined postage - in fact UK internal parcel pricing intervals are such that an additional small item may not cost you any more.
Worldwide dispatch - I am happy to quote for international shipping.
For items under 2.0 kg weight (Under 60 cm long), I use Royal Mail Airmail, International Signed For.
You can always ask me for a quote before bidding/buying - weights and dimensions are shown in most of my listings.
I can sometimes offer a basic Airmail Postage to international locations. This is not 'signed for', and so does not meet eBay and Paypal protection and tracking recommendations. However, if YOU are prepared to take the slight risk of non-delivery, this will save you £4.95 GBP on the above prices, regardless of package size. This risk may be worth taking for low value items. Most UK originated air mail is in the hands of the host country after 48 hours. Subsequent delays or losses are then out of the hands of the usually reliable UK postal services. Thus the offer is dependent on the percieved reliability of the postal service in the destination country.
Heavy & Large Items - international shipping.
Items over 2.0 kg weight (And large items over 60 cm long) are in a different international postage category. I strongly recommend that overseas bidders & buyers contact me first for a shipping estimate, to avoid embarrassing surprises. These items can get quite expensive to ship worldwide as the weight or volume increases. I mostly use UPS or DHL couriers, as they are cheaper, and far quicker than the old 'surface' mail category. Such items are insured, tracked and signed for.
Do I offer Insurance and 'Signed for' delivery in the UK?
UK signed for £0.77 Extra
Not on my initial invoice, but I always ask UK buyers to contact me if they want 'signed for' delivery. If you choose not to pay for this, then I personally believe you are tacitly agreeing to join me in taking a very small risk. Ebay and Paypal rules technically insist on proof of delivery. This means that to fully protect myself, I should also insist on 'signed for' postage. This raises the postage cost on every single item - especially absurd on small, or low value items. In reality the risk is small, as total loss is rare in the UK, and I pack as carefully as I can to avoid breakage.
