This is a Vintage Ladybird Key Words Reading Scheme Book 5c "More Sounds To Say" by W Murray, little Matte hardback book. Outside covers are matte and inside pages, other titles to collect in this series. RRP on inside cover of book is 2/6', book has 52 pages. Internally this book is in good condition, the condition of this book that was printed before ISBN numbers were issued is really very good indeed. Outside covers have a few dents/marks/scratches/creases to them, but there are no pen marks or folded down pages to this. It's a read book from a huge collection of Ladybird books I'm listing, was my daughter's, on a bookcase, now outgrown so time to move it on. Book measures 7"x5". Also selling other Key Words Reading Scheme Books as individual listings if interested.

"Key Words.........what they are, and how they are used." Nice book to add to the collection as my daughter was a bookworm or as an aid to help with reading. I am also selling a few other items of maternity wear, baby boy's and girl's and young girl's and ladies/men's on here and other pairs of shorts and teeshirts, skirts, trousers, jeans, leggings, socks, shoes, dresses, bags, purse, underwear of all ages/sizes on EBay currently, big clear out, many books mainly Ladybird - take a look!

I'm selling lot's of girl's and boy's clothes (amongst other things!) on EBay currently, take a look and happy to combine with anything else if interested, as long as I'm informed before hand!

To help make eBay a "happy place" I have a few pointers here regarding my sales/situation, which may help you bid on my items!  If none of it is suitable/acceptable, you are made aware before any bids are made!  I use eBay to sell items mostly and hope that everything goes well from the moment you click the mouse and bid!

1) I am a Mum at home, working normally around 9-5 Mon-Fri on here, ad-hoc in the evenings and weekends.  Family comes first around an eBay environment!  I don't work outside my home currently, I lost my job last year.  I do not allow collections from my home due to being messed around in the past - sorry. I don't have Business premises, this is my home, my dining room!  Location of where I am is on my listings so you can see at any time and from the outset.  I ask for any contact re eBay to be made via eBay messages, I will answer everything as it comes in!  I do all my communicating to Buyer's via eBay messages as it should be! I will combine items up to 3 days apart but I do ask for at least a day's notice to do this because I have to take my items to the Post Office to be weighed and do this when I have other eBay parcels to post, and it also gives me time to come back to the Buyer with a quote, so please bear this in mind if it is something you're interested in. I do this Mon-Fri only.  If you are wanting to bid on more than one item, can you let me know as well please so I'm aware beforehand of a multi-bid, thank you. 24hrs is preferable. This allows me to collate items and also to get a P&P quote ahead of time as mentioned above. Please note that UK Postage went up on the 31st March 2014.

2) I am mostly a Seller on eBay, I am selling a diverse range of items from my own home.

3) I accept only PayPal payments, nothing else sorry, and I don't offer deliveries to people, no couriers either by a Buyer - sorry.  I despatch items 1st working day normally after payment received, but I do not post at weekends only Mon-Fri, so if payment made Friday onwards, 1st working day for posting is Monday, 3 days later and so on.  I go to the Post Office once a day, normally lunchtime.  I ask for payment to be made within 3 days of end of the auction, or if not, to let me know straight away of any issues and we can discuss.  I will automatically open a NPI dispute after 2 days no contact, no payment.  I always inform Buyers when their item is despatched so they are aware it's en route.  Can I also ask Buyer's to check their addresses in PayPal and eBay?  From a Seller's point of view, I am coming across quite a lot of errors in both of late, which takes time to point out to the Buyer, for their item to be despatched, get them to check/change it then the transaction can happen, we shouldn't have to check them, but I always do and sometimes I find we have different addresses so don't know which to use, obvious geographical errors, wrong postcode's, wrong counties, wrong town's, etc, it all helps for a smoother transaction and checking before item is despatched.  If in any doubt, I won't despatch to an address I'm not happy with, or the buyer hasn't confirmed the error's if found.  Both eBay and PayPal addresses too should be Confirmed not Unconfirmed which appears to be another common issue coming up, so that also helps to check out too and rectify.

4) Overseas Bidding.  All bids for Overseas are currently blocked. Currently I only accept bids if a buyer has contacted me first to ask for a quote on P&P for an item from Overseas, so I can get an accurate quote for them from the Post Office, then come back to them and then the bidder knows how much it would be at the end of the transaction, to save any issues at the end, then I can unblock that particular item for any bids as we all know then the Overseas P&P price. If you want an Overseas quote, please contact me with some notice before auction runs out as I only go Mon-Fri to the Post Office, not at weekends. I do not post to Italy due to too many parcels going missing, sorry.

5) Multi-bids/items.  I don't offer a discount on more than 1 item bought.  I just weigh any items together and alter P&P at the end of the transaction, but do ask the bidder if they are planning on bidding on more than 1 item of mine, to let me know before hand, so if they win, I am aware for invoicing purposes and can put items together ready etc. I will combine items to post, but I do need some notice as all my items go to the Post Office to be weighed, so I need to parcel them up and can only do this Mon-Fri.  Also if items are more than 3 days apart, that someone may wish to bid on, I can't offer a "storage" facility for items because of lack of space, so will have to do them as separate transactions! I will also discuss any BuyIt Now prices for items, but no offers thanks!  I measure all my items too and list them on the listings, so buyers are aware of sizes incase of questions before hand, and also tend to take more than 1 photograph so you can see item from more than 1 angle.

6) Items come from a Non Smoking environment, but we do have 2 cats here!  I also wrap my items well (I hope!) and use Jiffy bags, sometime recycled which I have to point out incase that isn't suitable, boxes or brown paper, never anything flimsy.  My items go as packets or parcels, not as Large Letters, and I don't use Mailing Sacks.

7) Aftersales.  For whatever reason, if you are unhappy with any part of the transaction, my description, my photographs, my packaging, my postage, my communication, in general - me, please let me know because if I am doing something wrong here, it's only fair I know!  I am noticing a regular trend from Buyer's who leave Feedback but then if you look at DSR's left which we can/do daily, they mark you down for something and you have not been contacted whatsoever before hand, which I think is unfair, to leave a good comment but poor DSR's seems wrong!  If you're not happy, why not say to the Seller first?  I don't understand that part!  Communication is great if we all use it, and if someone i.e. me is so bad at this or doing something wrong, how do we know??  It all helps for a happier environment!  Thank you.  I always contact a Buyer first if I have an issue, then they have a chance to respond before any feedback is left.

8) Feedback. I do not automatically leave feedback anymore for a transaction on eBay until it is completed and it is left for myself first and item is received and any issue then is discussed beforehand as feedback should be the final part of the transaction if either party wishes to leave it. As feedback is voluntary anyway on both parts, I also keep all postal receipts for item's here for 2 months, then they are destroyed.

9) Returns.  I accept them for items I have described wrongly/badly/or I have damaged myself, but not items that are a "change of heart" by the Buyer, not liked, bought in error, or an error by the Buyer.  Also if something is bought and it clearly states what it fits/doesn't fit on the listing, then again that's not an error on my part, unfortunately I'm not a shop and will accomodate issues when I can, that's why I try and list everything accurately, but again, if it's down to me and my error, a SNAD, within 7 days of receipt of item by Buyer will be accepted back, and via the official request through eBay request for a Return, not just sending the item back without asking first to.  Also if something is "tampered" with by the Buyer i.e. jewellery, packaging opened on a BNIP item etc, then returned, I won't accept that, all items no matter what if they are to be returned, have to be so in the condition they were sold and received in and with their original packaging used to send item in.  I will also ask for photographs of item in the case of damage to be sent to myself to view first.  Being courteous/communicative in all matters with any transaction good, bad or whatever is key here!

10. Abuse. If a Buyer or potential Buyer sends me threatening/abusive/rude emails/texts, I will not hesitate in reporting them to eBay and their ISP and anyone else that needs to know (as happened recently) this is unneccessary.  If the transaction goes wrong for whatever reason, or the answers received aren't what's wanted to do something like that then is uncalled for, we can try in most cases to sort things out but if we can't, then we have to try and close the door and move on, be adult enough not to send threats etc.  I work hard at what I do here, but it seems some people are not happy and mark the DSR's down or send abusive email's and leave it like that!  No retracted bids either please or they too will be reported.

Thank you for reading, I hope this gives you a clearer picture on what we hope will be a fine transaction, and any doubts/questions you may have are answered above.  If not, then please contact myself, and I will do my best to answer them!  Oh and happy bidding if you do!
