|Vintage Mappin and Webb Lizard Handbag|
A fine example of a vintage Lizard Skin Handbag by one of the most famous British companies “Mappin and Webb”. They began trading in Sheffield in 1810 and went on to trade from Regent Street in London and are well known for their excellent quality items, they hold a Royal Warrant for being suppliers to the Her Majesty the Queen.
This is a beautiful Lizard skin with no scuffs or damage to it, the interior is suede lined and has four pockets. One with a zip fastener which is in perfect working order, another for storing your lipstick and two others so this handbag is very well designed as one would expect from any Mappin and Webb item. Very popular design that they used in the 50′s and 60′s so a lovely vintage example.
The clasp works well and this is indeed a fine example of a British Vintage Handbag, and as all us ladies know there is nothing better to make a statement than a good quality handbag.
The measurements are approx 29cm wide, 17cm high and 5cm deep but of course expands to a larger size.
