Vintage Raleigh Record Sprint Racer SPARES or REPAIR in Reynolds 501 Size 52cm 20 1/2" c1980's. Lovely lightweight black, in original condition. I have done nothing to this bike, it has sat in my shed awaiting time, now a move means i need to get clear of loads of stuff. Sold as Spares/repair because the front fork is bent, it will ride but does need a new fork. I don' t think this was bent in a crash, rather damaged in storage. I say this because the wheels are matching and original and there is no damage to front wheel. Photos show the front wheel out of position and the buckle above the brake, the brake blocks rub one side unless set really wide and hence not very effective. Size is 20 1/2” / 52cm centre to centre, 21" / 53.5 cm centre to top and the top tube is 22 1/2” / 57cm centre to centre. Frame is Reynolds 501 tubing, paint is very good for age, a few marks on top tube but mostly clean, weighs in at 9.7kg 12 speed Indexed gears, 700c wheels are in good condition Maillard Hubs and Alesa rims.
