About our items

All of the goods we sell, unless otherwise stated, are genuine vintage/antique items.  As such, they may have some minor flaws from age and wear.  With respect to clothing, there may be slight imperfections such as surface wear or minor fading, bobbling and/or missing tags.  All our items have been carefully and individually selected, as well as very thoroughly inspected prior to listing them.  Any major imperfections will be clearly described and we will show photographs, where possible and/or appropriate.  

For clothing and shoes/boots, we do not rely purely on the sizing given and provide precise measurements for all our items.  So, please take the time to ensure that these measurements are suitable for you, by checking the measurements against an item of clothing in your wardrobe that fits you well!

Please bear the above in mind when buying items of clothing to prevent mistakes occurring.

UK:

We accept the following payment methods:

* payments made through the postal service, must be sent via recorded/signed for delivery.  If this is your chosen method of payment, please let us know as we appreciate that payment may take longer to reach us.

OVERSEAS :

Payment via PAYPAL only.

ALL PAYMENTS (UK/OVERSEAS) MUST BE RECEIVED WITHIN 5 DAYS of the AUCTION END.  Unpaid items will be processed through our system, non-payers reported to e-bay and items re-listed.  

If, for some reason, you are unable to pay immediately, please contact us prior to the auction or within 24 hours of the auction end to discuss this.  (Otherwise, unpaid items will be processed as above.)

Postage/Combined

WE POST DAILY and aim to post your purchases within 48 hours of your cleared payment (usually sooner).

WE CHARGE POSTAGE AT COST and do not intend to make any profit from posting, as this is not fair or reasonable to our customers.  Our postal costs are based on the size and weight of the item once it is packaged, except where ebay dictates reduced postage costs (in certain categories) where we (as the seller) bear the additional costs.  We use recycled packaging where possible.  
 
UK: All our items are posted via 1st CLASS SIGNED FOR DELIVERY to ensure their safe receipt - a little more expensive but WORTH IT!  (We even do this where ebay have set maximum postage costs, so we pay the difference.)  The only exceptions to this are bulkier and heavier items, which may be sent via Parcel Force Express 48 signed for or another courier, where stated.

OVERSEAS: We are happy to dispatch most items worldwide.  Most items are shipped using Royal Mail Small Packets signed for delivery to ensure their safe receipt, but an international courier may be used for heavy items (over 2kg).  

INTERNATIONAL COURIER: We use an international courier for heavy items being shipped abroad.  If you see an item listed for UK only, this is probably because it weighs over 2kg.  We may be able to provide a courier quote, but ONLY if you contact us PRIOR TO BIDDING so that we can provide an exact quote.    

COMBINED: Happily!!  If you buy more than one item, we are happy to quote for COMBINED POSTAGE if required.  Please contact us if you want to request this, especially if you are purchasing several items over a few days as our postage charges are based on the weight of the item(s).  If purchasing several items over a few days, we will expect payment as items are purchased.

OUR PROMISE: If we have overestimated the cost of posting by £1 or more, we will refund the difference directly to your Paypal account.  Contact us and we'll verify your request against our postage records.

UK Courier

MAINLAND COURIER: 

Please click on EAZIMOVE link to take you to the website of our UK Courier.  They will be able to provide quotes for larger items e.g furniture.  

NB We do not ship large items of furniture abroad.

Returns Policy

eBay AUCTION/BUY IT NOW PURCHASES UK : If you're not totally happy with your purchases, please contact us within 7 days of receipt prior to returning any items to us.  (For auction items photos may be requested if deemed appropriate by us).  Once we have given a return reference, items must be returned within 10 days in their original condition (we recommend using a signed for postal service to ensure safe receipt).  Once we have the item back, we will arrange for a refund (excluding all postage costs).  

PLEASE NOTE buyers will be responsible for all return postage costs, so we recommend that returns are sent via 2nd Class SIGNED FOR delivery to ensure their safe receipt.  Please don't forget that items remain the responsibility of the sender until they are signed for and delivered!  PLEASE PROVIDE OUR RETURNS REFERENCE WITH ANY RETURNED ITEM(S).

OVERSEAS BUYERS/COLLECTION ONLY ITEMS : We are sorry, but we are unable to offer refunds to overseas buyers and on large items 'for collection only' due to high shipping costs, so please check the item description and/or measurements very carefully before buying.  However, in the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your purchase, please get in touch with us and we will always see if there is anything we can do to help.  

ANY RETURNS should be in their original condition (with tags still attached where this applies) and show no evidence of use or misuse (including perfume, make up, pet hairs or tobacco smells), otherwise we are unable to offer a refund or exchange and the item will be returned to the purchaser.

This Returns Policy does not affect your Statutory Rights.
