Vintage obsolete police hat badges. From the Danville, VA police department. These have been phased out and replaced. Made by Blackinton. Not sure of the age these where active, sometime in the 1900's is my guess.

These are for collecting purposes only, and are not to be sold or used for impersonating an officer of the law.

These where bought via a government auction for the purpose of resale, with the permission of the Danville, VA police department's auction representive. Authorization of the purchase and resale can be provided if necessary.

The first two pics are the actual items, the third is an example of the badge out of the package.
