At MastheadArt, we love our ebay customers to come back to buy more work after their first purchase! We now have a new REWARDS scheme.Any previous customer coming back to us to buy another item will have a super free piece of art enclosed with their next parcel. We pick up huge numbers of smaller items in auction lots and private sales, loose pieces of art which simply come with larger lots. We have amassed quite a lot over the years, so we thought it would be great to use them as loyalty rewards for our customers. It may be an original painting, a drawing, or a nice print. It might be large..or small. Whatever you get it is “pot luck” what we have on the day but it will be something nice which you might like to frame, give as a gift, or even sell on.When you buy your first item with us you’ll be sent a loyalty card which enables you to get a free item of art enclosed with any subsequent purchase from us within 12mths. It will have a code on it unique to you which you can then quote to us when you next buy.

MastheadArt – payment, despatch & handover information – please read
Our stock is kept in spankingly clean off-site secure, dry, insured, commercial
storage premises which open Mon-Fri 9am-5pm, and restricted Saturday hours.
When you buy an item we will retrieve it from storage within 24hrs, and to get
it packed and despatched that day or the following day depending on how fast
the courier collection can be booked.
Purchases made at weekends are retrieved by us from storage on Monday, packed
and then weighed & measured to be booked for collection by UPS or
Parcelforce on the Tuesday or Wednesday.
Smaller items going by recorded mainland post can often be despatched on the
Monday if we aren’t too stacked out with weekend sales of large items needing
Our standard UK postage and packing deal
- is usually by Royal Mail or UPS (Mon-Fri despatch and deliveries, usually 2-3
days from packing to delivery) - signature required.
If you want to use the extra-cost same-day UK despatch
- please use the "contact seller" facility via ebay before buying
to see if we are physically in the office..we cannot always pack and despatch
that day if we’re out buying, delivering, or at an art fair. Large items
need careful packing and booking with a courier for collection here (next day
at the earliest), so do keep your expectations realistic.
We don’t want to disappoint you...but we need to be out working..that’s how we
get the great stock, and these aren’t just widgets we’re despatching! We want
to do the job right!
If you don’t get a fast response when using the "contact seller" mail
facility in ebay, it means we’re not near our storage unit or an email
connection ...so are unlikely to get the item out until at least the
next day once we’ve picked up your message and retrieved the item for packing.
Overpayment of postage if buying
multiple items for postage OVERSEAS
We realise that in different countries buying multiple items from one seller
sometimes mean the postage charges don’t easily combine in the charging system
before ebay asks you to pay, and you seem to be paying a full despatch cost on
each item. We can’t tailor additional item costs to each country but once your
package of more than one item is parcelled, weighed and costed, if you’ve
overpaid we will refund you by paypal whatever the overpayment is.
Please ask in advance of
bidding/buying if it needs
postage to one of the British islands: Isle of Man, Channel Islands, Scottish
remote locations etc, for additional carriage charges (we primarily use UPS for
price and efficiency, but they do charge more for some postcodes, or don't
serve some postcodes at all).
In addition to overseas shipping charges displayed for the countries we can
ship to, if you know your address attracts remote-area surcharges from couriers
please let us know before paying, or we reserve the right to charge you any
excess by paypal invoice once the item is packed and booked for courier
collection here - if UPS tell us the address attracts a remote-location charge.
If you are unsure if your address attracts extra charges, please hold off
paying and ask us to check with UPS first.
Sometimes a painting is
vulnerable due to size, frame, or age, and it is better for the buyer and
seller to work together to hand it over personally...or you may just be on one
of our regular UK driving routes and want to ensure it doesn’t go through the mail
We try to be as helpful as possible to meet YOUR
needs, and we’re out & about all week, so for the possibility of potential personal
handover in the UK, see the section below-left, "Handover"
Please only buy if you are
ready & in a position to pay safely online via PayPal.
There’s nothing worse than a buyer going to ground with no communication,
leaving us with a sold item but no communication of payment.
If you haven’t paid we will ask to recover payment with ebay’s help. It is only
We don’t take cash, for our own safety, if you’re thinking of arranging
We will only retrieve from storage, and start to pack an item, once we have
Many thanks for your kind understanding.
