Mark Noble ended the 2009/10 season as West Ham United's longest-serving player, having joined the club as a full-time trainee in the summer of 2003. An experienced former England Under-21 midfielder, Noble has been part of the Hammers' promotion from the Championship and 'Great Escape' from relegation from the Premier League in May 2007. After scoring on his 100th appearance for the club at Blackburn Rovers in March 2009, Noble has continued to be an important member of the first-team squad.

Signed a new long-term contract on 25 September 2012, making his 200th start for West Ham United in the 4-1 home Capital One Cup third-round defeat by Wigan Athletic the same day...Scored his first two goals of the season in the 4-1 home Barclays Premier League victory over Southampton on 20 October 2012 - the first from a direct free-kick and the second from the penalty spot...Converted penalties against Liverpool and Norwich City during the winter and continued to feature regularly in the Hammers' midfield, before a trapped nerve required an operation and left him on the sidelines for two months...Returned to the fold as a substitute in West Ham's 2-2 draw with Manchester United on 17 April 2013.
