Return policy details
At First Discount we hope that you will be happy with your order. However, should you have a change of mind for any reason; under the Distance Selling Regulations you have the right to cancel your order for any item purchased on-line for a refund.
This does not apply to items personalised or made to your specification i.e. Special Orders.
The following conditions apply:
1.Orders must be cancelled within 14 days commencing the day of delivery by contacting 0845 5489900 quoting your order number, a returns number will be issued.
2.Goods must be returned in their original unspoilt condition; i.e. unused and in their original packaging.
3.We regret that we are unable to refund any delivery or postage costs.
4.We are unable to issue any refund until the goods have been inspected.
5.All goods should be suitably wrapped/packaged to make certain of safe handling and to protect them during transit. Where items were delivered on a wooden skid to protect them and or keep them upright, they should be returned in a similar manner to facilitate their return.
6.If fuel or oil has been added to the product this must be fully drained off prior to being returned.
7.Any damage or loss during return is the responsibility of the sender.
8.When retuning goods we recommend you obtain proof of postage, tracking details and insurance.
9.We reserve the right to charge a 20% restocking fee for cancelled orders and returned items.
Damaged in Transit (DIT):
We use established, specialist couriers to ensure that your goods reach you in perfect condition. It is essential that any damage in transit was noted at the time of delivery on the couriers signature pad. It is important to note that when you sign for an item being delivered you are not only signing for its delivery but acknowledging that the item is in good condition. In the event that your goods are damaged in transit, please call 0845 5489900. If you are unable to check your item fully upon delivery, please note on the signature area where you sign that the item is "unchecked".
You must contact us by phone within 7 working days of delivery. Your legal rights are not affected.
Faults or Missing Parts:
Rigorous inspection and batch testing procedures are carried out and every effort is made to ensure all products reach you in full working order.
However should either of the following apply please contact us on 0845 5489900 immediately or within 7 days of delivery quoting your order number.
Missing Parts - Should your product be found to be missing parts Customer Care will arrange for these to be dispatched.
Faulty Goods - Should your product be found faulty on delivery:

2.Customer Care in conjunction with our technical service department will work closley with you for a swift resolution to your issue, we will provide you with a returns number if the item(s) need to be returned to us.
