First World War Medal Pair.
1914 Mons Star and Victory Medal to: A Nevill, Rifle Brigade
Medals are named thus.
1914 Star - 8578 PTE A NEVILL 1 / RIF. BRIG,
Victory Medal - 8578 PTE A. NEVILL. RIF. BRIG.
Ribbon Bar with all 3 Ribbons plus Genuine Rosette
Medal Index Card confirms that he is entitled to the full 1914 Mons Star Medal Trio. Therefore he is missing his British War Meal, which, sadly, is not unusual.
He entered France 23rd August 1914.
His Medal Index Card also tells us the he later served as a Corporal 19894 Royal Flying Corps
