For aucion, is my 1987 Yamaha Genesis, 989cc D Reg. No Tax or MoT and has not been on the road since October, 2010 and has only been started a couple of times in the past 18 month before the battery packed up. Presently on SORN and no present MoT.
The bike has been stored in dry conditions and a fresh battery is now available. For a bike of 25 years of age, it is in quite good, clean overall condition but does have some cosmetic faults on the side panels, seat and fairing but there is nothing missing and could, with limited preparation work, be ready for the MoT in quick time, but please bare in mind that the bike has not been started for many months therefore it may take a bit of t.l.c. to get it started and ticking over smoothly and running correctly.
Since the last MoT in June, 2010, I have only covered 193 miles, before storing it away in October, 2010. The speedo shows 20935 and I cannot say for definite if this is the genuine mileage as I was never given any previous MoT's, when I bought the bike in April 2010.
This bike is a real heavy monster and since I have developed a rheumatic shoulder and a small abdominal hernia, I dont consider that I will be doing any more motorcycling in the forseable future and I think now that there is no hope, no prospects and certainly no future for me in the biking capacity.
The winning bidder wil require a trailer or a large van to transport the bike away, as I have already pointed out, there is no Tax or MoT present. The winning bid is the price to be paid, no haggling or if's and but's after the sale has finished. The bike is SOLD as SEEN and no RETURNS will be accepted.
The bidding will start at £9.99p and there is a RESERVE PRICE on the bike plus there is no Buy It Now negotiations. Payment though either Paypal or cash ( No Cheques) and the bike must be collected within 7 days of the auction finishing.
The bike is advertised elsewhere, therefore I have the right to remove the listing at any time.
Any questions, please E-Mail me and I will answer them to the best of my ability.
THANKS FOR LOOKING AND GOOD LUCK BIDDING!!!!
