We have a number of XS650s arriving and they are always sought after machines, if you own just one classic motorcycle then Yamahas parallel twin 650 makes a very strong case for itself. The engine delivers low down, useable torque in spades, which makes for an easy, relaxed riding style, seldom experienced on a multi, it is very capable of keeping up with modern traffic speeds, whether you want to ride past the chip shop or go to the south of France with a tent the XS will happily oblige. All of this in a pretty motorcycle that is practical, affordable, staggeringly reliable for bikes approaching 40 years of age and, by the later models such as this, offering excellent handling characteristics to boot.
This particular machine is a 1976 model year XS650 C still finished in the original French Blue paint scheme and was built in October 1975 and has covered just 18,981 miles, it starts well and runs just as it should pulling cleanly and eagerly from the very bottom of the rev range. While it is not cosmetically perfect, it is in lovely original and very rideable condition.
Please look at the photographs carefully, these form an integral part of this motorcycles description, larger versions of the pictures can be found on our website www.classicmotorcyclesearch.co.uk
