Yamaha xt 350

Welcome to the auction of my really nice Yamaha xt 350.

Its a 1986 bike that was imported into the country in 2004, so the speedo is in kilometers and shows around 16000, so only around 10000 miles done.

It is MOT till Jan 2013 with tax till May 2013.

Fairly new road type rear tyre.

V5 in my name.

Before me it was owned by a chap who collected bikes and kept it in a heated garage and took it to shows.

As you can see from the pictures it is in really excellent condition, the reason i am selling it is that i need an all year, all weather salt and all bike to commute 40 miles on and i cant bring my self to ruin this beautiful totally original xt 350. So i have already brought a more abused xt 600 to use and the 350 has to go!

If you do commute it does 65 to the gallon no problem at all and has a surprising amount of get and go for a 350, it really goes well with plenty of power to overtake things.

As said it is in excellent conditions, but please note it does have age related marks here and there so do not expect a mint conditon new bike, the seat does have a very small hole and is faded but i have a brand new seat cover to go with the bike. That said i have watched most of the various xt350 selling on ebay over the past year and i can honestly say that mine appears to be better than any offered before.

Engine and gearbox are sweet, no nasty noises or oil leaks at all.

All electrics work as they should, as do the speedo and rev counter.

The only thing she needs is a new chain and sprocket kit soon, but these are cheap and easily available.
