Selling my ZZR as now have a Paneuro which is better for my back over long distances. Pics taken last week. I've had this bike for seven years and it's been very reliable. It's a fast, enjoyable way to get around. I and it are on the Isle of Skye so I expect to sell for less for than I could down south among the peopled masses. I've swapped my Pan insurance over to the ZZR for a few weeks for a last blast or two.. so I could deliver. The bike's in good mechanical condition and polishes up pretty well but IT IS twelve and a half years old so please expect a few scratches and scuffs! GOOD things: new correctly rated DID chain & sprockets, lovely throaty stainless exhaust, very good inner-tubed rear tyre ( front prob has a third left ), new best oil & filter, new cam chain & tensioner at 41k when valve clearances last checked, religious oil & filter changes every 4k, good battery, impeccable starter, rarely seen salt and garaged most of the year ( ACF 50 liberally used ), new fork oil 5k ago. BAD things: front brake pads getting close and the front calipers could probably do with a good overhaul fairly soon..did have the rear caliper serviced recently, the wheel surfaces are suffering from the usual Kawasaki cosmetic aging process, some of the aluminium framed parts could do with a touch-up where the black paint's flaked off, the Scotoiler needs unblocking before relying on it, LHS front indicator lens came loose on way to MOT so held on by insulating tape at mo ( will fix this ), the tiny clock adjust rubbers below the speedo are missing, there are a couple of minor cracks in the fairing probably where the screws have been over tightened etc but nothing serious. The previous owners pointed out seven years ago that one of the front stanchions had always appeared slightly misty.. it's never been a problem though, is perfectly smooth and exactly the same as it was back then.
