I am selling my muched loved Brother BAS because I lost the majority of my sight when I caught meningitis. Hard to thread a needle when you can't see the machine.
The sewing head was recently rebuilt and the rubber bumpers where replaced. The entire sewing parts were cleaned at the service.
This has left some needles requiring realignment and a proper service is due. Or you can do it yourself if you are mechanically inclined. The service manual is included.
Cost new would have been over 22k. I am asking 10%, £2,200.
The machine has plenty of life left I imagine.
Software is included, I used to create the pattern then transfer it to an older PC with a low density format floppy drive. That is the input format for the machine. Two other alternatives that I didn't use are, use the (included) data cable, but I never figured it out, or install a USB unit in place of the floppy. (Available on eBay)
Reluctant sale :-(
The unit will fit through a normal doorway, but the side handles need to come off, easy task.
I am also including a box of new hats, I think there is almost 100 in the box.
If you have question, please ask. As many times as you need.
It is heavy and will need a large van to move it. Shipley is a good place to start, I will add a link, if I can work it out.
Need more pics, ask.
I prefer cash on collection, PayPal is expensive. Can be viewed, let me know
