NOT WORKING. This is an old time piece either made or sold by Wray Son & Perry who were based at 38 New St Birmingham in the latter part of the 19th century to early 20th century.
The Face is unusual as it is upside down in the case, the stem ( winder ) is at the 6 position not the 12. I have read that items like this may have been used for Car or plane dashboards. It has a serial number on the movement of - 40060, but no hallmarks or any other identification apart from the front face.
The front looks like it could be Brass as it is dark, and the back is a lighter silver colour ( this is only my best guess but is no guarantee) and weighs 177 grams
Pease note it is not working, has marks and scratches and needs a clean. please see photos for detail.
I am not an expert in these things but have tried to give as much detail as I can, please ask if you have any questions and I will do my best to answer.
